Food for Thought is an experiential, project-based learning initiative that teaches students how to grow food using indoor hydroponic and aquaponic systems. Students are responsible for learning how the systems operate, researching what they can grow in the units, plant care and system upkeep.
"We are able to grow plants year round using hydroponic systems and we can use the vegetables to help make lunches for the school." - Emma Rose Brander, Student
