Fall represents an important season for food security, with leaves falling from trees, animals changing colours, and the harvest moon providing extra light to prepare for a colder, restful season ahead.
We join our community in honouring the Fall Equinox that leads to September 30, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. We recognize this painful and tragic time of year when Indigenous children were taken from their families.
